Register to vote
You need to be on the electoral register in order to vote in all UK elections and referendums. You are not automatically registered, so need to do so if you want to vote. Although you cannot vote until you are 18 years old, you may register before this.

If you think you will be away from the constitency on the day of the election, or you will be unable to come to the polling station for whatever reason, you may want to apply for a postal vote.
