13th September 2016 – Sam has today announced he will be hosting a public meeting inviting local residents to share their concerns about the recent changes to the Gatwick Airport Route 4 flight path affecting Horley, Outwood and surrounding areas. Representatives from Gatwick Airport and the Civil Aviation Authority will also be in attendance.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 6 October at Yattendon School in Horley, beginning at 7.30pm. There is expected to be a high turnout. Due to the size of the hall, there will be a limited capacity. Seats will therefore be available on a first-come first-served basis and constituents will have first priority. The address for Yattendon School is: Oakwood Road, Horley RH6 7BZ.
Sam is asking those who would like to attend to please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and address.
Sam said: “I look forward to welcoming residents, giving them the opportunity to directly discuss the issues they are facing as a result of recent flight changes from Route 4. The impact of flight noise can have a serious impact on environmental wellbeing and quality of life. That is why it is absolutely vital that the impact of flight noise is reduced as much as possible.”
