Delighted to have welcomed A Level politics students from Warlingham School to Parliament on friday afternoon. Equipped with thoughtful and informed questions the students quizzed me on a range of issues, from the nature of the Coalition Government to what my new role as PPS to the Prime Minister means. The visit by students comes just after the exciting announcement that Warlingham is to become an Academy. This marks a new chapter for the school, and with their results steadily improving I hope the school continues on this positive trajectory. Being able to visit Parliament is just one of the ways to make politics more accessible for young people and with a specialist education service based in Parliament I would encourage all schools to take advantage of the schemes available HERE .
