Opened the refurbished rooms at the College of St Barnabas

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the College of St. Barnabas in Lingfield on Friday 20th May. Whilst at the College, I opened the newly refurbished rooms and was impressed by the quality and standard of the rooms. Lunch was lovely and I met some of the residents over coffee and was impressed by the remarkable achievements and lives that many of the residents had led. The College provides a great place for former members of the clergy to enjoy their retirement in a safe and social environment. The College of St. Barnabas is a residential community of retired Anglican clergy set in the idyllic countryside of Lingfield. Residents lead active lives in self-contained sheltered flats with Residential, Nursing and Respite Care provided. Definitely one of the gems of East Surrey!
